My first video show report:

Some 38 minutes around the club tables and traders at the Newark Showground in the UK. Also included is a brief look at the English Civil War Centre in Newark, artillery damage to the parish church and Newark Castle where King John died.

My longest video report so far and the noisiest! If you like it, please leave a thumbs up or subscribe.

Good show was it? Didn't bother going this year.

@King Monkey:
It is less than two hours from me and with the two Partizans I get to visit the site three times a year.

A big mention for the town's English Civil War Centre plus the earthwork known as the Queen's Sconce:

The sconce is a relic of the English Civil War defences of Newark, an earth starfort in a public park.

Just a couple of miles further away is the battlefield of Stoke or Stoke Field (1487) the last big battle in the so-called Wars of the Roses.

The battlefield is publicly accessible by footpath and there are information boards around it.

I usually visit Hammerhead and both partizan shows.

I found the Civil war museum very interesting when I visited it a couple of years ago

The ECW museum is not open on Sundays so do not factor it in for Partizan as that is normally a Sunday show.

According to the Hammerhead page on Faceslap the total number of wristbands issued inc traders and helpers was 1677 which is a huge number I think. It certainly was very busy, especially round the tabletop sale. Certainly a very good show and very enjoyable day out for us, we only wished we could have stayed longer than just over 3 hours.

@Volleyfire:
I always find the Newark events – Hammerhead and the Partizans – enjoyable.

@everyone:
I would like to thank everyone from TMP who have viewed my first show report and have supported it with their 'thumbs up' and their subscriptions to YouTube. It appears show reports are very popular.
