I've done several searches but am unable to find any 1:1200 scale IJN barge minis. Does anyone make these?

Fleetline made them in metal, but, of course, they've been defunct for quite some time. Fleetline Daihatsus will turn up on ebay from time to time.

They're available thru Shaoeways at 1/1250.

Worst case make them yourself out of balsa. I believe Warlord makes Japanese weapons sprue.

They will be extremely small.

Making them out of styrene should make them a bit more durable, though of course balsa is easier to sculpt, sand/shape. Basswood for a bit more durability, while still retaining the ability to easily shape.

The percentage solution is to get hold of a metal rendering and press it into putty, extract it carefully and pour duplicates.

There's one in CJ45 Deck Cargo kit[/url in the Figurehead 1/1250 Coastal Forces range.

There are lots of generic barges in the old Triton 1/1250 Scale Harbour (sic) range, which is still sold by Navy Models & Books.

I agree it shouldn't be too hard to make empty ones, if you're crafty with styrene bits. 1/1250 cargo, crew and passengers would be impossible for me.

A NZ company that made 3D printed, modern fast-attack boats in 1/1200th, or 1/1250th scale, used to make these too.

Not sure if they still do.

Last I recall, I saw some of them on Shapeways, so they might still be available there too – the Daihatsus.
