Ah, yes: "Lord and Ruler: At the End of the World" and "The Hard Sea" (1953) – two of my favourite naval films…

"Drama in Depth" (1958) with Clark Gable had me stumped for a bit though

What the hell kind of hallucinogen was this writer on? Most of the titles are meshugas. "Al-Safina"???

What a load of garbage! One example Re Dunkirk, "The battle becomes a true test of survival for young [Japanese soldiers], a designated RAF pilot and the crew of a civilian ship trapped in the waters of the English Channel."

Really should have said "of World War Two". Virtual all of them came from the war. Damn the Defiant was a great film.

Grattan54 – agreed, Damn the Defiant is a superb movie and very much overlooked

"Lord and Ruler: At the End of the World"

I'm surprised "Star War: Backstroke of the West" is not on the list.
