Go to the hardware store and get some MEK. Does the same thing and much cheaper. |

Due to complaints from the wife many years ago, I had to give up using anything using MEK due to the smell. Didn't bother me because I lost most of my brain cells as a kid/teen using Floquil paints. LoL. Have you checked your local RC hobby stores? I get my Tamiya glues from such a local store. Any hobby shop online that sells plastic models should carry Tamiya. I noticed Hobby Lobby sells Mr Cement Deluxe liquid glue. I never heard of it. $4 USD a bottle. link |

If you like Tamiya Extra Thin Cement: Tamiya Airbrush cleaner and a bottle of Tamiya Extra Thin Cement and see if the Ingredients in the bottles are the same and if the airbrush Cleaner will cement parts together. Since the video I now know its 50/50 mix with the cement and 51/49 mix for the cleaner. link Ref: YouTube link
PDF link PDF link One could save even more money (assuming you use lots of glue) but mixing your own from raw solvents. |
