Seems odd to invite opinions without defining "early war" and "late war."

That is a little surprising. Most WW2 gamers of my acquaintance have vast amounts of late kit (as in 1944+) kit, with early (39 to 41) being very much a bolt on. Unless we are lumping desert in as 'early'?

Where that leaves 42-43 I just don't know.
