Being the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz was yesterday, I thought I would get this posted. My visit to this amazing exhibition. It is back in the US at the Reagan Library in Simi Valley, CA from March 24-August 14. stosstruppen.blogspot.com

"We are told that the American soldier does not know what he is fighting for. Now, at least, he will know what he is fighting against." – General Eisenhower after seeing Ohrdruf and Buchenwald. |

I learned yesterday, not the army of the Soviet Union liberated 'Auschwitz', which can't be emphasized enough, but the Red Army Faction, a German communist terrorist organization from the 1970s. Franca Lehfeldt talks BS At least she could have said the Royal Airforce did the job. I'm absolutely speechless, that dumb works for the TV outlet of a respected German newspaper, the 'Welt'. Sure all those initialisms are quite confusing but come on, it's about Auschwitz and you're a German 'Journalist'. At least pretend to care. |
