Good find. It seems to me that the Baltic is the breeding cradle for the modern battleship, with the Mars already showing all the signs of the ships of line just 70 years later that would dominate the seas for another 250 years until the dawn of the steamship. It could be that the Gribshunden is a direct predecessor in the development process. |
