I research always some scenario different and unusual, but this time I had a lot of issues to find some info about this important battle. To be able to remake it I went to the Latin sourced written 1000 years ago, I reproduced maps. The work is still long to be finished, but I have all the info needed to write the first complete report of this battle ever written; (check the difference with the articles on Wikipedia) I hope history lovers will like it and forgive my poor Englis, but history comes first.

Here some maps to give you idea.

and the link for having a first glance

Interesting post; I was unaware of this battle and know little about the period between the First and Second Crusades from the capture of Jerusalem to the disaster (for the Crusaders) at Hattin. I hope you intended to play it out— I'd love to see some pictures!

@Parzival this was a period where the new born Kingdom of Jerusalem put the basis for its survival for the next 2 centuries. It – firstly – resisted to the attempts from Fatimids to reconquer immediatly the Holy Land (a fact that usually remains unknown) and – later – expanded towards east and south (while the Crusade 1101 towards the far east collapsed.

I am preparing the firs papersoldiers for this battle. At the moment we are cutting the first 100 Arab horsemen. I will improve the numbers in fast rate, hoping to give you some pictures (As usual it will be a 1:1 ratio. i.e. 1 papersoldier = real man)
Merry Christmas!
