The anniversary of these two battles, plus Second Trenton are coming up which highlight 'the Crisis' as well as Washington's tactical and strategic sense and his battlefield leadership.

In my humble opinion, your Revolution hung on these critical engagements, it certainly made the French and Spanish more willing to support the Rebels. I salute Washington for holding on and taking sensible risks, he outlasted his opponents and deserves a lot of credit for keeping the Revolution alive.
