Haven't heard anything officially related to whether there would be expansion armies for Austrians or Russians for Warlords Epic Battles Waterloo Series. I've seen a topic recently for the Russians, but not Austrians. I was always attracted to the Austrians and have them in both 15mm and 28mm. Maybe it's due to a lot of reading about the period before wargaming but the Austrians make a lot sense as a collector because they were the most frequent opponent of the French between 1796-1814 and fought many battles alone i.e. the 1809 campaign which is my personal favorite. Yet, despite all of this the Austrians seem to be the least popular of the major nations. Additionally, the uniforms are relatively easy to paint and contrast nicely with the French making them easily discernible on the table.

I have not taken the plunge on any of previous Epic Battle sets but if they do produce either Russians or Austrians I would be very tempted as they may sit well along side some of my Empire/Heritage figures.

Oh yes, I would definitely be all in on Epic Austrians and Russians. Prince Schwarzenberg's Army of the Upper Rhine was close to the combined numbers of Wellington and Blucher and had already invaded France around the same time as the Waterloo campaign.

I don't need them, but I would seriously consider buying them.

On the Warlord Website there was a video interview with Tom thingo, the owner, about t6he future of Epic Scale and he talked about fleshing out the range over time to include at least all the major nations. Austrian was THE major nation after France. I think the only reason they haven't been done yet is that they didn't feature in the 1815 Campaign in Belgium.

I'll admit that I have far more 15mm Napoleonics than I know what to do with, but when I saw the boxed sets I thought that the plastics are a really good size and aesthetic for making up some chunky bases for display games of Blucher and you wouldn't even need too many sprues. I can see why they went with Waterlooo but I'll wait until the Austrians and Russians come out though.

As someone who has not a single red-coat in my Napoleonic armies I second the vote for Austrians – Napoleon's most stubborn and long-serving opponents

I also vote for the Austrians. I would expect after waterloo that Leipzig may be the most interesting battle, which includes Austrians.

Austrians and Leipzig? Ok, but how about Aspern-Essling, Wagram, Dresden, Sacile, Austerlitz, etc. Anyway, adding Austrians and Russians would certainly make supreme sense for a line like this. At this scale, most other nations could reasonably be done by Paint conversions.
