Ten of us got together for a day of playing ACW riverine.

We played at ENTOYMENT store Poole.
I recommend you put this shop on your "to visit" list.
Probably the best miniature gaming store in the world.

We used 2 tables for the day.
We played about 9 scenario games on the two tabes. These are the simple scenario listed at the bottom of the rules page "want to know more" tab for Hammerin' Iron.

The two full games we played ended in a very small win for the raiding confederates and a small win for the Union on the other table.

Of particular notes are the Albermarle's ram making short work of a 90 day gunboat and the Virginia being the only Confederate attacker to arrive far too late for action.

Nice day of riverine action!

I had forgotten Peter Pig makes 3mm ACW troop strips too (sculpted shoulder to shoulder).
