All, I need to scale my ACW naval games down to 1/600th. I'd like to see if there is any interest in buying my scratch built roughy 1/200th models. They'd be priced to sell, I'm thinking $10 USD-$15.00 each. They are reasonably accurate, but not perfect. |

When it comes to ironclads, I don't 'think' in scale, I think in inches. How big are they? |

If you want to gauge interest accurately, you're going to need to lay out more info. Pictures of the models, especially as to whether they can be opened to accommodate crew and guns inside should get that done. Editions Brokaw is a sometimes vendor who makes 1/200 models, whose name eludes me just now, who announces production runs in here from time to time. Its been quite a while since he was in.. Verlinden also makes 1/200s. |

The gent who originally owned Editions Brokow passed away some years ago. I didn't know someone else has taken it over. Thanks John |

Here are a couple photos for your opinions. All the models are roughly 10 inches x 3 inches. The interiors are not accessible. The photos show the following - USS Benton, Cairo and Essex CSS Arkansas, Charleston and Virginia. Yes, I know the pilot house on the Virginia is wrong. link |

@John L I didn't know he passed. I have no info on any continuation. |

The gentleman's name was Jim Brokaw. I hadn't known that he had passed. His large scale ironclads were the best around (IMHO).Their dimensions were altered a bit but for the most part, all of them looked great – not cartoony in any way (except for the Keokuk). He also had a nice line of 10mm ACW minis to match. |

Jim Brokaw is alive and well check out his Facebook page under his name. His iron clads and other ships are good table top models. He cast about once a year so you have to follow him to find out when he is casting. He only cast what is ordered. His 10 mm figures, buildings and fortifications fortifications are quite nice |

I don't do Facebook but that's great to know! While I ordered samples of his 10mm ACW figs, I never had the cash to make a proper order. I'll hopefully be able to do so next year. |
