Since a lot of time – I was till a little boy with no pc – I was dreaming to make some Muslim troops, at the epoch, like now, to make some scenarios in Spain and eventually in the Holy Land, during the IX – XII Century.

It has alway been difficult to find sort of ispirational figures. Finally I found link

a fantastic series of papersoldiers drawn by Vyacheslav Balatov that I do recommend to buy.

nontheless I did some improvements

thanks Puster. This is a very intresting site. I will be inspired by this figures. Really top!

As far as I am concerned, I increased a little bit, changing the horse, and making a Moors' flag with some (real) Arabic script (I can a little, so it was simplier).

I used the horse of my Nizza Cavalry Regiment (Piedmont 1848) for this Arab horseman

and I increased the Arab drummer
