I couldn't find a better forum, so hoping this is best guess… I'm looking to see if there's a better printing and binding service for ebooks [rules] I buy. Staples is OK, but they've raised their prices a lot and make significant errors occasionally. If you're in USA, are there any places that are better? FWIW, I'm in the greater Philadelphia area, NJ side. Thanks in advance! |

Lulu.com. I've printed four PDF's as hardcovers through them. Low quality ink is ink jet; low quality paper is rough, but acceptable. High quality ink is toner; high quality paper is nicer, but not full clay paper (thought it was, but it ain't). Get high quality paper and ink. It's worth it. I bought three hardcover books, low quality ink and paper, B&W, 300+ pages each, for $20 USD each, delivered. Bought one high quality ink + paper, hardcover, full color, 96 pages, $38 USD, delivered. Will do it again. Very good quality POD. Cheers! |

I've had some luck with the Federal Express Formerly Known as Kinko's, and the local Office Depot has been good to me. |

I had a comb binder and a decent home printer, but the binder died in shipping. And I lost several bookshelves in the move, so I'm not shelving all my printed rule pdfs unless I'll be using them. I've heard good things about Lulu. |

I have a color laser printer. Just upgraded from my laser black and white printer. I print up dozens of rule sets/booklets every year. If you are like me having a laser printer saves you money. I also have a comb binding machine. I can easily do up to 200 pages (haven't had to do more so far). If you ever plan on buying and printing pdf's a laser printer is the way to go. Thanks John |

I never used Lulu to print my pdfs but that's about to change. |
