Though I voted for it I personally would not feel comfortable living in New Zealand these days.

DrSkull09 Dec 2022 9:33 a.m. PST

If you call that living.
I'm kidding, they're great.

Depends a bit on the mates, but if it's Quiet Earth, I'm in.

They have some very nice homes build in the ground, Trouble is they were built for people 4 to 5 feet tall max. ;)

@Shagnasty -- why wouldnt you be comfortable living in NZ?

Personally, already being in Tasmania, I am glad it did not win. We already have a few 'escape bunkers' from the extremely wealthy, and they tend to block off great fishing spots. And the reality is that most extremely wealthy people wouldnt be able to get to their escape bunker anyway. With Covid borders were shut and the extremely wealthy didnt appear!

Yea, that's been true since the 1970s and 1980s.

Not entirely coincidently also winner of the worst place in the western world for decent wargames conventions. Not that I'm bitter about where I live just slightly jealous of some of the opportunities that you other gamers get.

But if we all went there it would be a great place for gaming
