All, Preferred source of WWII minis is Peter Pig. I know the catalog list a single pack of actual SAS types, that look meant for NW Europe. My target is operations in North Africa. I see Home Guard sets that appear to have watch caps on. Any suggestions as to what mix of figures I should use? |

Best bet is probably doing some head swaps with 8th army infantry. There are Arab Heads (pack 140) under colonial. Under WWII British is Commando Stocking (Pack 74). If you can find any of these guys, they are really nice. I've been lucky to source a few. link |

Cormac, thanks I wasn't aware of the Arab heads. I was also thinking about using 14th army ANZAC troops. If I do it, I'll likely end up buying way more figures than I'll actually use. As for vehicles, I'm going to see what I can squint and make work from the Gaming Models range, $5.00 USD each! |

I've got some of their armored cars. I like them. I think the Bedford Truck (open bed) would work just fine. Maybe add a CMP 2pdr Porte Truck for some fire support. |

If you were interested in 20mm, this place has a ton of LRDG miniatures. They might even be able to print them in 15mm if you ask nicely. MarDav Miniatures: mdminis.co.uk |
