It seems a Belorussian linked to negotiations in Ukraine has died suddenly of a "heart attack":

Apparently, his death was unexpected, and reportedly, at least some in Russia are shocked by his death, since he was only 64, and not in ill health.

Also, as noted in another article on this link, Russia is believed to be running out of ammunition, and is now believed to have only enough for the next 30 days. Reportedly, they are seeking to restock their supplies, so their operational tempo has slowed.

Was the heart attack induced by finding himself 9 stories up and on the wrong side of the window?

Reportedly, they are seeking to restock their supplies, so their operational tempo has slowed.

China has started to supply them via North Korean ammo stores, then probably their own -- after all, most of their stuff is based on Russian designs still. So it's a race to see who gets bankrupted first -- the West supplying arms and $$ to Ukraine, or China supplying arms and resources to Russia.

The West is mostly supplying out of existing stocks and replacing items that were in storage. There is a cost to that but it is minimal. But the bean counters will count it at full market value to make it seem like we are doing more.

If the US sends them an armored vehicle that has been in storage for 15 years and will likely never be used again, it counts as a couple million dollars in aid, even though the actual cost is clean up, fix up, and shipping and much less than that.

Isn't a Russian 64 a western 90?

Thank you Mike for injecting some truth & common sense.

The OZ government has sent a military assistance package which consisted of over AUD 285 million worth of support including Bushmaster Protected Mobility Vehicles, M777 Howitzers; anti-armour weapons, ammunition, unmanned aerial systems and a range of personal equipment.

The "big item" were the Bushmasters which are built here. To replace them, the government will inject more millions into the local economy (creating jobs) & at least some of which will come back as income & profit taxes – win:win.

You really need not to just to look at figures like some here do but to understand them.

At least he had a heart attack and went quietly, not like the Colonel who committed suicide by shooting himself 5 times in the chest. Obviously a bad shot…..
