I've not posted for a while – but disappeared down a militaria rabbit hole on e-bay. The quantity of things still being surfaced in Poland is fascinating…

Why are ammunition pouches stamped Deutsches Reichpost 'even more desirable'? It means German Post Office.

The pioneers bags are obviously repro.

Winter tracks on tanks widened the ordinary track links to spread their ground pressure over a wider area. Whatever those things are wouldn't do that.

The "winter track links" Look like they may be grousers for the Pz III tracks rather than actual winter track links. I haven't looks for references for whether the Germans used grousers for Pz III but judging from the ebay photosthat wouls seem more plausible than those being winter track links.

Not authoritative but this hobby site looks much like the "winter track": link

I think they were meant to grab in the ice rather than provide lower ground pressure. Like snow chains on a car. Mostly useful on roads I would think.

I'd quite like a garden table made from a sprocket wheel. If you put a circular bit of glass on top, the Pimms wouldn't fall through. Tough to find chairs to match, though.
