"The Cold War brought out the worst in both the Capitalist West and the Communist East. Weapon development had reached a point where the entire population of our planet could be wiped out in case of a conflict. This political outmaneuvering was done in some very dubious ways, as seen with the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, where they claimed they were propping up the Afghanistani socialist government. I suspect the plan isn't dead.

The IRS just bought 5 MILLION rounds of ammunition for their "troops" in just the last few months:

Add that to the 1.6 BILLION rounds the US government has purchased and/or planned to purchase back as far as 2013, AND it becomes clear someone has a plan (one wonders what it is, and who it is against?) – note, this is NOT for the military, but apparently is for the Homeland Security Department and ICE (let that sink in):

Of course, the Social Security Administration wants in on the game too, and purchased 174,000 rounds of hollow-point ammo for its agents. Think about that next time you complain to the SSA about your payment or lack thereof.
