Still looking for some good, easy, preferably quick play, rules for renaissance, I have used the TTG version of Tercio and thought it was fun and I liked the army lists as they covered Eastern and Western European armies, any suggestions/ |

Nope, as I am in the same search. Good luck. |

Band of Brothers is an option for the Italian Wars, and others with unreliable allies – Wars of the Roses, etc. Maximilian is another rules set to consider. Back in the day (5 – 10+ years ago), there was another, but I can't recall the name right now. Got a lot of positive feedback on here. |

To the Strongest for the early period. For King and Parliament for the late sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. |

Has anyone used WRG De Bellis Renationis. I have a copy of the rules, circa 1995, they don't look too bad, but I am looking for the three army list booklets, does anyone know where I may be able to find these, preferably a US source, no offense. |

I have not, but see that DBR is listed as being a good set for various periods. IIRC, there was also a supplement/add-on/house rules for adding in guns – cannons and muskets to the period (early 1500s and beyond). Try On Military Matters first, though others may have them too. Your local, friendly, game store, if you have one, may have these for sale as well. |

Well, onward and upward, guess I'll give them a try, since I already have the rule set, apparently all I need next are the army lists. Did a search last night and it seems that Noble Knight Games out of Wisconsin has new and/or used copies of all three books. Thresher01, just an FYI, with the DBR rules for the renaissance period, even with the DBM rules for the medieval period, gunpowder weapons factors are included in the basic sets. |

Carnot, where could I see and review a copy of those rules? |

lulu publishing sells it, it is version 2 and has the rules and army lists in one volume.

Wow, very nice, I have a set of the rules, must be version 1 but my army lists got lost during my move to The Free State of Florida. I'll google lulu and check on availability, thanks Bashy. |

I wanna thank Bashy for referring the DBR set that also included the army lists, just got my copy, in hardcover no less! |
