Back in mid 80s there were 3 short novels by Collin Wingate…Submarine, Frigate, Carrier. Premise was Russian attack on Norway… leading to naval war. Good read… (not entirely factual!), but books probably disintegrating by now!

We simply claim the Czech Republic as Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia, call it Eastern Ostrich to distinguish it from Austria and Australia and get Königsberg for free. France, Italy and the UK will probably agree for the sake of peace and harmony Czechian Christmas trees aren't that popular there as those from Norway. |
