Remembering Marx WOW Figures

If you were a kid in the 1960s who loved history and toy soldiers, you probably had a WOW figure!

Does anyone make 28mm medieval peasants in a "pushing mode" – as if pushing a heavy cart or small siege engine?

Don't know, but many siege engine models come with crew figures. Plenty of 1/72 scale models to look into. The soft plastic models, are my favorite (see below), as they are the most forgiving in a drop to the floor.

You can check 3D printers online, to see what they offer. Word to the wise: 3D resin printed mini's tend to be quite brittle. Be careful not to drop them… I've broken several, lately, and it is disheartening: they are very good quality, very good designs, but they tend to snap off at the ankles, with any drop to the floor, even from two feet height. Cheers!

At the moment, I cannot think of any 28 mm medieval figures in pushing poses.

The closest I can think are a couple of early 16th century artillerists pushing their cannon around, from Steel Fist Miniatures. Great figures, but not very peasant in style:

Perhaps it could be possible to convert some plastic figures in a pinch? That said, not too many sets of plastic peasants around, either.

Are these any use:
