Finally snapped some photos of my Ethiopian and Somali aircraft for the Ogaden War. Thank you to all those on TMP that helped me figure out how to paint the Somali Il-28 Beagle!

I've been away from the board for a while so I missed this – the Ogaden is on my 'to do' list – I've got the miniatures but just haven't got round to painting them (apart from a handful of fighters). Yours look great.

And I'm with Antioch – how did you do the bases? Specifically, how are the planes attached?

(sorry if the answer's on your blog – I'll be looking at that later but right now I need to drop the kids off at their mother's)

There was an Ethiopian Canberra bomber at Kishmayo airport in the early to mid 80's. The Ethiopian pilot defected during the Ogaden war.
