Looking to downsize some armies I have.
Looking to get suggestions for what is a good $ figure for painted miniatures.

There are 1800+ representing FRENCH, RUSSIAN and AUSTRIAN armies.

Figures are painted to a professional level (not by me) and all have matching bases.

There are another 500 figures painted to an equivalent level, but with the bases are plain painted wood. There a number of officer figures as well not counted in the totals below.

French – 576 infantry, 13 guns, 188 cavalry.
Russian – 480 infantry, 10 guns, 144 cavalry.
Austrian – 576 infantry, 6 guns, 56 cavalry.

Any thoughts on pricing would be appreciated. Thanks

Simply put, the better the quality of the paint job, the higher the price that you will get. Also, you will always get more $ if you split them into smaller "lots". For comparison GAJO is selling their Napoleonics for $30 USD for 12 infantry, $15 USD for 3 cavalry, and $15 USD per gun and 4 crew. GAJO paint job is also "professional", but I would rate them as a "gamer's standard" paint job. They are retailers of painted gaming figures. They also list individual prices of $2.75 USD per foot, and $5.25 USD per cavalry figure. You might also consider doing package deals for larger groups of figures. Just my thoughts.

You can get 24 painted 15mm Napoleonic infantry from Chinese sellers on Ebay for @ 35.00 – 42.00 usually.

That would depend on the mini brand (AB, Old Glory, ect) and the quality of the paint job

Ditto above. Sell in one gulp you get less per figure. But if sold by lots it is a hassle and you may get 'leftovers'. Depends on what your time is worth versus what price you want.

1. Paint Job
2. Basing
3. Figure manufacturer

A buck a figure usually sells……..good paint job you can go as high as 1.25.

If you want to sell them, a buck to a buck-fifty per figure. Some people pay more, but most don't.

Are you planning to sell them at a fixed price, or put them up for auction?

It's unlikely these figures are worth anything at all. To save you the trouble, I'm willing to relieve you of this tiresome burden and take them off your hands for merely the cost to you of the postage to my country. Please message me for more information.

Thanks all. Looking to sell them as fixed price. Preferably at one time.

Maybe sell by Nationality, also are they based for a certain
set of rules, some rules use basically the same basing, and some can be played with any basing system as long as they are all based the same. But as other have said not only the how well they're painted but the figure Manufacturer as I have over 2,000 but they are all French & Prussians for 1805-to-1807-time frame. But they are all AB figures. I would purchase any figures that weren't AB. So, you would need to specify the time period for these figures also.
