Mention of a game section towards the end, although wondering what it was?

You finally got the Prussian cavalry to do something, Herk. Well done on beating those perfidious Frenchmen.

Thanks Guys, Dal, I have had enough failures with the vaunted Prussian Kuirassiers, despite their advantages, the dice never behaved!! I hope this change in luck is not just a 'flash in the pan'!!!

GamesPoet, sorry, not sure which section you mean? – quote some text and I will try to help!!

@Herkybird. Think @GamesPoet might have meant to type "game system" and was a predictive text victim:-).

Herky, what size battles are your rules really geared for? How much time are the battles you and your friends taking to play?
Inquiring TMPers would love to know, thanks!

The basic units are 1 stand of horse per squadron (or equivalent) for cavalry and 4 stands per infantry battalion.
3-6 such units make a brigade, commanded by a brigadier.

Each player should command at least 3-4 Brigades.

We like 600 pt games, which usually include 4 infantry and 2 cavalry brigades, which usually takes 2-3 hours of play before one side cedes victory to the other (one or two cavalry brigades are defeated, leaving the infantry flanks undefended, and/or one side's infantry has many more shattered units than its opponents.

We don't use a fixed army test, but rather let the players decide as they historically did.

In essence you can play as big as you like, with lots of players, (we used to do battles twice the size, but these seemed to devolve into battles on one side of the table while the other had a dull game skirmishing!)

Hope this helps!
