I have to look up how to spell Caesar every time. Anyway, I played another game of Hail Caesar set in the dark ages with my newly rebased and expanded dark age armies; Saxons and Vikings.
HC is pretty good at doing dark ages I find. I like that whole lines can crash together in one big slog.
It's good that I am getting in some practice games because i signed up tp host some HC games for a convention in November. So far I've figure out that you need a big table, each player should have 2 divisions if possible, and labels on the units tend to help. There's more pics and HI-Larious dad jokes on my blog. link -Stew

Nice! Great table/minis and loved the artwork (especially thou art lost – I am sure I can find some use for that!) |

I am in a group that plays HC every Friday. We do mostly Dark Ages and alike. Games play very well and while not my favorite gaming era, it certainly is fun and I win every time. Sometimes I win by defeating the other army, sometimes I win by being the first off the field, but have a blast each week. |

Thanks guys. Glad you liked it. HC is really such a tool kit game. It'll be fun to experiment some more with it. |
