this war is going to last well into winter months easily
so i heard about the partial mobilization of russians.
i understand they are having to provide their own basic gear now
so winter gear will be very lacking
so with that in mind i hope we are already preparing and shipping winter gear to ukranian forces any one know?

Considering my reading of Napoleon history November can be start of winter it's a good idea to get started

Depends…

* does Russia have a "second defensive line" in Luhansk, after the fall of Lyman?

* if the Ukrainians are now cutting south along the river, how much longer can Kherson hold out?

Doctrinally they should have multiple defence lines. But ideally these should be chock full of troops and defensive works, not just lines on a map. Tricky if a lot of your troops are in captivity or the ground.

Yes. Winter gear is already being shipped to Ukraine. Both for military and civilians.

According to Visegrad24, members of the Trans Baikal state duma declared that 1.5 million Russian winter uniforms had been "misplaced" by the military. I imagine many of the Russian soldiers will be without cold weather gear as the temperature drops. I'm sure those disappeared uniforms helped fund someone's yacht.
