I ordered some figures from Britain at the beginning of August, and they still haven't come. Is there some problem with shipping? It seems like there was an intermittent strike at the Royal Mail sometime during the summer. Anything else? The water is muddied by the fact that 4-5 days after ordering, I received an e-mail to the effect that my package was held up in customs. That seemed unlikely, and there were some internal indications that this might be a fraud of some sort. However, I checked with the manufacturer, who said he was just putting together my order, so no, it couldn't possibly be stuck in customs. Now, I probably should have written a thank you note to him but didn't. Several weeks ago, I did write to see if the package had shipped but got no reply. In the meantime, my order from Perry Brothers in Nottingham placed at the beginning of September has arrived, leaving me wondering what is going on. Grelber |

I have had orders held up by US customs for 40 days, it seems they forgot to finish the paperwork, it was in town all that time but they could not deliver it until the paperwork was signed by customs. I have also had orders held up at UK airports for 3-4 weeks for unknown reasons. |

Some orders I have sent to the US have taken much longer than normal to arrive. The message I am getting at this end, New Zealand, is that a couple of years ago two of the three international sorting depots in the US were closed down. This left just one, in LA, processing all international inbound mail for the country. If that is in fact the case, it would certainly explain some delay. However, it doesn't explain the erratic nature of the service, as I get some parcels going through in a reasonable time. |

My order from Ebor took a little less than two weeks. Their shipping seems very fast; the paper labels on the package were complete. Wonder if the part of Britain your figures ship from makes a difference? |

Besides having hold-ups in customs I have received packages from Northstar, KillerB and Tiger miniatures in less than 48 hours on least 75% of my orders. |

I have had no problems receiving figs from Foundry or Perry all year. They reach St. Louis, Missouri within 2 weeks. I am currently awaiting an order that has until Oct. 03, to meet that same criteria, so we shall see what happens. |

globaally postal services are incopmpetant at the moment, there have been two strikes one caled off and the second on Friday just gone.Strikres are not an issue, the main factor is the amount of customs time parcels can take, secondly the lack of notifications an attempted delivery has occurred, leading to parcels returning. As for in 48hours the cost of that service means you are paying alot, normal orders take 7 days, but for those pesky customs |

I ordered several packs of Minifigs from Caliver Books UK to be sent to the Midwest USA. The order was placed Sept 28, 2022. I received the order October 14. Not bad at all! Everything in my order was correct. The figures are beautiful and unbroken. Excellent metal too. This will complete lots of units from different periods. The GBP is at a low against the US dollar so the figures were very reasonably priced. I thought shipping would take longer but no supply chain hang-ups in this case. The best part is, they're Minifigs! I love Minifigs! I've been ordering them since Tom Dye made them here in the USA. This is my second recent order from across the pond and I am truly delighted. Cheers!
