Watched that, Perun has been doing good stuff (and know when to call in others with more knowledge)

Good video as usual.

Probably not everyone's cup of tea, kind of Perun's drunken Scottish uncle, and yes the title is meant to be somewhat clickbaity (I think its probably part of the guy's comic schtick). Retreads some Perun's corruption video with a bit more human interest and a few interesting observations about Russia's 'future' tank force. Raises more questions than it obviously answers. Apparently, Putin's new army is getting two more tank divisions and the obvious question is what the heck are they going to be equipped with? Even Russia's bottomless stockpiles may be getting rather thin!

The previous 'what sunk the Moskva' is also a reasonable summary of that debacle for those who haven't bothered to trawl through all the coverage.

That maybe more of saber rattling/propaganda for local consumption.

Where are they going to get the AFVs and trained crews to man them ?

Will these crews be any better trained, motivated, lead, supplied, etc. than those before them ?

Two complete tank divisions? Yes, that's totally going to happen, and it will turn everything around. There is evidently Koolaid flowing from every drinking fountain in the kremlin.
But that kind of unrealistic announcement of conventional force enhancement is concerning with respect to further escalation, when it proves to be ineffectual…….

The tone of the Lazerpig video was that it would be less tank and more IFV division. One assumes at this point the Russian propogandists will start painting the loss of BMP's as somekind of victory because of the massive cost over-kill when they get wasted by 3rd gen ATGW!

Putin seems to like raising new units. An earlier collection of reservist volunteers were formed into the BAR units. The (mostly ethnic minority) volunteers were formed into new units. The 3rd corps was raised. Existing units are short of soldiers, this is where new people should have gone, preferably with some unit training out of combat.

The 3rd corps was raised
As we know, just because it's called the 3d Corps does not mean it is up to strength, etc. The Germans did something similar in the latter stages of WWII. Just because it called a Div. or Corps etc. does not mean it is.
