Any lighter rules that use the same figure ratio as EMpire? I always liked the 2 Grenadiers and 2 Voltigeurs plus 8 trrops. |

Any with a man:figure ratio of between 40 and 60 to 1, I guess. Black Powder with 'small' size units? |

Check my rules summaries here: link Black Powder would work fine. It is basing neutral so set a "regular seize" unit to your standard battalion and go from there. Lasalle, Le Feu Sacre, Marechal de Empire, and Shako would work as well. |

Empire 3rd edition uses a figure scale of 1:60, so the only rules at the same scale I know of is Guard du Corps. If you increase the scope to 1:50 to 1:70 then we can add: WAR GAME RULES 1685-1845 CORPS COMMAND Élan Deluxe Edition FIELD OF BATTLE Vom Kriege Version 2.3 I am uncertain what would be a lighter set of rules, perhaps WRG? |

Le Feu Sacre was designed by someone disenchanted with Empire so uses the same basing |

So that is why the basing is so weird! I had no idea. (I make fun, but I think LFS looks well worth a try. I just don't have any troops to try it and nobody I know wants to put on the game. That rulebook has gathered quite a bit of dust in the long years since I bought it….) |

Our group uses, Charge, Eagles Rising. link |

Try the " shadow of the eagles" rules. Simple napoleonic rules with units of 8 figs cavalry and 20 figs strong infantry units. |

That rulebook has gathered quite a bit of dust in the long years since I bought it… I know the feeling, i have a lot of rules books gathering dust on my book shelve. |
