Semi Regular Retirees Gaming
We are getting together semi regularly about 3 Thursdays each month. Check the Facebook page for the latest details or drop us an email and we will fill you in.

Help Out Newer GMs
We are developing a tips & tricks list for our newer and future GMs that they may gain from the wealth of experience that our group has to offer.

We all know that we (and potential future) gamers like cool looking tables with stunning looking terrain along with scenarios that provide challenging problems to solve with our gaming friends. The eye candy is likely what drew us to the hobby and continues to draw others. So let's help the next batch of folks not have to reinvent the wheel and use what we have learned to all of our benefit.

In particular we are hoping to get guidance from many of you on the topics of table presentations with terrain and figs, techniques regarding setting up quickly, to get the game description & rules explanations done expeditiously and whatever you might think would be good advice to help get interesting games with great looking tables up and running in the shortest amount of time possible.

If you have any ideas or thoughts on what works or what doesn't just send an email to me and we will get it in the mix. Help us to help them and by doing so help yourself to better quality gaming.

Help Spread the Word!
Our events are seeing more attendees and gaining more notice to be sure. Something we are very happy to see coming about, but there is always room for growth and improvement and we could use your help. Events are posted to our Facebook group then shared to other groups where appropriate. It is impossible for us to cover all the gaming groups out there so, if you see an event that would reasonably fit into a group of which you are member, we would really appreciate your sharing it. You just never know where or when you will trip over someone who is local and hasn't had a chance to join us. It only takes a few seconds to do so and it could easily end up with another player at the next game you GM or play in. Help us to help you!

While we strive to be as accurate as is possible all events listed are subject to last minute changes, substitutions and/or cancellations.

Big Muddy Historical Gaming Alliance (BMHGA) strives to support and build the historical gaming hobby in the St. Louis Metro Area "By demonstration presentations at conventions, schools. libraries, and other events, where the theme includes military or gaming.
