Couple of questions from those that have played them, before I plunge into getting a copy. My 15mm WSS armies are based 6 figures per base, 3 bases to a unit, and cavalry 3 bases also. Is this a problem, do not want to rebase. Is their figure removal or are complete units removed. I have seen their is a Sun King module for WSS hence my interest.

Might & Reason basing is two bases per unit (1 for artillery):

IIRC there is no base removal.

Easy when you know where to look, I see its 2 bases per unit, but not too difficult to convert to 3 bases then half range. Thanks for that.

PUBLIC NOTICE

All rules work with any basing if you simply adjust for your base width.

No need to ever ask this question again.

It's a free world. Go ahead and ask this question as much as you want. If a member is annoyed by it he can simply avoid opening your message.

Thankyou William, my thought exactly.

I can't see that it would be a problem. There are two formation: Fighting Formation (with the two bases side by side) and March Formation (with one base behind the other). So, there is no problem with representing that with your three bases, you just have three bases in the line or column, rather than two. Measurements are in base widths, so, for your purposes, just make a base width equal to the width of one and a half of your bases. That should work. Good luck.

It may have been a rude comment, but It's not incorrect.

It is incorrect. Some rules do mandate certain basing

They may say use a certain basing, but the truth is almost any rules can be modified to accommodate different basing.

So, no, the statement is correct.

In my experience, the more it is said "basing doesn't matter" – the more basing matters! Usually it is the people who's figures are based to gain most advantage are those who will tell you it doesn't matter.

@Khalid bin Walid

It may have been a correct comment, but it was not friendly.
