'Most haunted' used to be a moth-balled DD in the
Phildelphia Navy yard.

Incidents were so frequent and frightening that the
caretakers refused to board unless in teams of three…

I have visited the Hornet in daytime, but didn't know that it was accessible at night. That would make an interesting Halloween date night.

Choctaw that is USS The Sullivans, DD 537. She was
Decommissioned (2nd time) 1965 Philadlphia Navy Yard
and mothballed.

She got her "haunted" rep during this period and was
1977 offered to Buffalo NY and their Erie County Naval
Museum as a museum ship and memorial, where she serves
today after repairs following her partial sinking
(hull breach) May 2022.

Repairs were done and she re-opened to visits 8/2022
