Don't need photos. I was there for Cold Wars 2020. (You should have been there. Great convention.) All systems modernized or replaced. I'd take off a couple of points for the sheer ugly of the new carpet and wallpaper, but they assured me it was very expensive. Anyway, as good a venue as we've got. |

The Wyndham is too nice for us! People might actually have hot water in the morning, plumbing that functions, and game rooms that don't smell. Wally's will even have light now! |

I'm sorry. I believe in plumbing, heating, air conditioning and even a functioning restaurant at the Host because I have seen these things. But except for the glory which was Cold Wars 2020, HMGS does NOT hold flea markets in places where you can get a good look at the merchandise. It's been very carefully explained to us that dumping us in a dark attic in the middle of the night optimizes the convention. Whatever the BoD, the Con Director or the Host management tell you, pack your flashlight. |

There was some sort of glitch in the program, Disco. I never found out what caused it, but not only were we allowed an extra flea market slot without additional charge, but the flea market was held downstairs in daylight hours in a fully-lighted room! You'd have to check with the Fortean Society for more details. I think the last previous record of such a thing at an HMGS-Formerly East con was 2016, and it may be further back than that. |
