Bottom line up-front:
I give this transaction a 9 out of 10 and would have zero hesitation ordering from this line again (in fact I plan to as soon as I finish painting this pile.)

Ordering process: 10/10. The website was easy to navigate and placing an order was straightforward. What made this outstanding was a day after I placed the order, I realized that I'd ordered several figures I did not need. I shot off an email and quickly received a reply that they could adjust the order. The next day I "discovered" that I also had not ordered some things I did need. Another quick email exchange and all was well. With all the emails etc. I was holding my breath a bit to see if everything would be correct.

Delivery time: 7/10. I was spoiled by the "old" Front Rank in that I could pretty much guarantee 8 days from order to receipt in California. This order took 20 days to ship and then another 14 days in transit (obviously not in GB's control.) In fairness the time to ship may have been impacted by the long delay in the Front Rank sale and there may be a large backlog of people ordering.

Order delivery: 10/10. Even with all my gyrations and changes the order was perfect. This really impressed me given how badly I'd screwed up the original order.

Packaging: 10/10 One of my criticisms about the "old" vendor was that the packaging was minimal, i.e., figures in Ziploc bags with no labels which resulted in some damage and my having to take time to figure out what everything was. The order from GB was packaged beautifully with every code clearly labeled and all the figures securely protected within bubble wrap. Probably as good as any packaging I've experienced in almost 40 years of miniatures.

Figures: 9/10. They're Front Rank so of course they're beautiful but some codes had some flash and mold lines and it seemed to me that the alloy used was more brittle than previously which resulted in my breaking a few small pieces until I figured things out.

Overall, this was a really good experience. Well done GB.

Edit: Oops forgot the best part.
Price: 15/10. I'm hoping the price stays where it is at but at 1.06GBP per figure it's hard to beat these for the quality.

Oh, I needed to order some SYW French to finish up the armies for doing Minden.

Lascaris, good to hear you had a great experience.
We are lucky the front Rank ranges landed with a good outfit like GB, it could have turned out much worse!

Totally agree.

Having recently bought a good amount of Napoleonic Prussians from Gripping Beast/Front Rank, I'll give them a solid, positive, endorsement!
Shipping to the USA was very reasonable priced and took a reasonable amount of time.

I am surprised that GB would take 3 weeks to ship the order. I have always found them pretty quick in turn around. I agree that GB is great place to have FR land in the sale of the business.
