My Gettysburg project includes the 20th Century version of the site. So I need American Civil War figures that are larger than 1/72nd scale and smaller than 54mm to use as monuments to the battle.

My collection has lots of 1/72nd scale figure and a few 54mm figures and so some of them will become statues. But I would like about a dozen or so assorted Union and Confederate, foot and mounted figures in any scale between those sizes.

I got a bunch of little bases and small wooden blocks to make into granite pillars and bases for the statues.

Any pose is fine, dead guys, wounded, shooting, running because all those seem to be used in the monuments.

Since this is a secondary use I am also hoping for inexpensive. I got a few about 1/48th scale plastic guys at a craft store, but rather limited selection.

Any suggestions?

Mike, you know the engineer saying "good, cheap, fast--pick two?"

"Scale, period, cheap, fast--pick three" works for miniatures. I've seen cheap 40mm ACW in soft plastic. Wait long enough, and they'll probably come around again. For right now, there's this:

Cheap, right size, ACW.

Yes same is true for tanks.
Fast, heavy armor or big gun, pick any two.

Thanks Robert.

PM me your mailing address. I'll see if I have any extra figures in my ACW collection. If I do, I'll send them to you.
