I am about to print some medieval flags and banners on plain paper and since it isn't waterproof ink I was wondering what might be a good method to do some weathering on the flags. Thanks |

First, hit with matte finish, or buy a "workable fixative" from an art supply shop, to be sure your inks don't run. Then you've got the usual choices--a dingy wash for stains, and drybrushing lighter versions of the same colors for fading. But I'd try an expendable sample before I went into mass production. |
