In my continued quest to add to my 20mm FPW figure collection, I recently stumbled onto the Battle Honours listings for this period. My collection consists of 20mm 42nd Black Watch Miniatures sculpted by Massimo Costa, Minifis "S" range and Frontier Miniatures 25mm figures, all of these figures blend well together, they are all about 1 inch tall. Was wondering if anyone has any of the above mentioned 25mmm Battle Honours figures and if so, how do they measure out, at they "true" 25mm old school figures or are they larger, closer to 28mm like Foundry, Northstar, Eagles to Empires and other ranges. I don't want to buy any of the Battle Honours figures blind, so any assistance with scale/measurement would be appreciated. |

I have some Battle Honours 25mm Saxons, more 1866 than 1870. They fit in ok with Foundry, not so with the Nort Star figures, Tally Ho! |

Thanks for the reply; how tall are they from the soles of their feet to the top of their cap, thanks………. |

I have oodles of BH Austrians, and they come in right at 27/28mm in height on average. These are almost interchangeable as far as sizing with the Foundry FPW line. |

Great, thanks for the information, sounds like Battle Honours are too large to work with my collection. Would love to get my hands on more Frontier 25mm FPW figures, they are as rare as hen's teeth, meaning they did not sell well, or the gamers who have them are holding on to them. There was someone who was going to bring Frontier back into production awhile ago, but that never happened, too bad. |

There was another company based in Australia who produced some compatible figures, away from the shed for a few weeks so cant show anything! Just added, think it was Castaway. Tally Ho! |

I've got basically all of their figures in duplicates, they are true 20mm, about one inch tall. |
