I was able to play Admiral of the Fleet at Historicon. A 1901 Franco-Italian game. I commanded an Italian Cruiser squadron. The first couple turns were a little slow while each fleets Admiral figured out the card based signaling system. After that no problem. After the first round of gun fire, I think everyone could pretty much do that on their own. No comments on the use of torpedoes. I didn't see how that worked but I know Italian destroyers, plus some damaged caused by my cruisers, sank a French cruiser. A very fun time was had by all. Now just painting my ships and hope to play again with some friends very soon. Dale |

It was a pleasure having you aboard for the game, Dale, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. We are running it again at HURRICON 2022 in September along with a "double-header" WW1 scenario (Coronel & Falklands in one 4-hour session) and a WW2 scenario (Leyte 1944-Kurita vs Lee). |
