Can anyone point me in the direction of some paper buildings for Berlin 1919? I am thinking about some 28mm FK vs Spartakists. Any help appreciated.

Since a lot of buildings still exist today dating back to the 1600's, I'd say it's safe to use most any European ones from around the 1870-71 Franco-Prussian war onward. Multiple story city buildings with ornate fronts should do nicely for you. possibly looking close to this in Baden Baden.

Scott Washburn's paper terrain surely has something of use for your needs. I just picked this series to get you into his website, where you can root around for more ideas.

FM I am doing eactly the same things you are and in the same scale. I have about 11 building which "will work" but since they will double for Ireland about the same time a little flex is needed.
Dave Gaffam paper models have a large variety of good models especially if you are looking for fighting in villages (suburbs of Munich or Berlin). Finger and toe have a nice period looking warehouse and other building of use.
Golden Lion paperwork also make some factory buildings where the KPD might lurk
Finally there is a company called M.U.C.K. which do really nice big building BUT they have 21st century doors and plate class first floor windows. Easily fixed by gluing those over with a brick print and homemade doors or doors from other mfg.

This may or may not help. I have ordered from wargames atlantic two boxes of their WW1 German infantry plus a box of WW2 French partisans. You can get a lot of civilian figures in a good workman "peaky blinders headgear and use the spare weapons in the German box to get good figures or give a few a German helmet. Need to file the cuffs off of the German arms but its not too much trouble. I have found a good source of vehicles from Dave Freemantle in Australia. Hope to hear and see more of your efforts. H

Field Marshal and Ferd45231:

I am very interested in your project. I have little background in that era, but I do know some good paper model sources, with the advantage of them being FREE.

Lets start here:

German specific, OK the instruction are German as well.
Scaled for model railroads, so HO (1/87) and N (1/160).
So you will need to rescale, I suggest "GIMP" which is a FREE version of PhotoShop. I can go into details if needed.

Next is Projekt Bastelbogen:
There are a number of collections and scales, but almost all are vintage German style buildings:

Another great start is PaperMau:

A site for free paper models, I selected buildings, but will be in all scales, locals, styles.

If you want buy items:
It is difficult to get 1/56th scale for 28mm figures:
This is one set, but really older style buildings:

There is the Reichstag:

But in 1/400th scale

A Brandenburg Gate, but N gauge (1/160)

You will have more luck with industrial areas than the Neo-Classical government areas or even commercial areas.

Which I know there are more out there from this:

Not German and not paper, but I am looking at these 28mm buildings for an Easter Uprising game. If you join the Old Glory Army for $40 USD a year the prices come down 40%
