NASHCON 2022 Ben and I loaded up two cars to carry the Pirate game to Nashcon. Ben's sister painted the old blue Walmart tarp in to a fantastic 24 X 6 foot Caribbean lagoon. Played over 2 sessions with 14 folks each session. What a wonderful group of friends; some properly attired in pirate garb. The Friday night games were great- I arrived too late to play. I played a WWI tank ! game Saturday night. And while I swore wasn't going to take photos this year --- I couldn't help myself. So here is a selection of 180 photos with about 20 that folks took and and posted ; I edited and put on the SmugMug site. SO just click on it and enjoy. WHAT a GREAT time I had – what wonderful , kind friends. We are BACK !! And thanks to the many, many folks who worked their tails off to give us a place to play. It was seamless.

And thanks also for the pirate extravaganza— one of my favorite events that I always hope to see and participate in whenever it appears.
I took a couple of shots myself of this year's game (Saturday afternoon session), as well as of my 10mm Battle of the Five Armies game on Friday night, but I haven't gotten the chance to put ‘em up yet. Another great con, and a full and bustling place again! |

Only a small glimpse of all the goodness that went on. The gaming hall and the tournament rooms were all packed with games and people. Once again, the organizers did a great job. Great to see friends again and meet new ones. I had a wonderful time putting on Wake Island and Burton Island using Rapid Fire Reloaded. |

I had a great time at Nashcon this year. That pirate game was very impressive! The con looked really well attended, I would be curious to see the numbers. Thank you to the con organizers as everything went really smoothly from my vantage point. |

Had a fantastic weekend at Nashcon. So much fun. Thanks to David for posting his photos. Thanks to the all the event organizers and everyone who ran games or tournaments. Also, thanks to the vendors who participated this year. ( Not sure how the folks at Sherwood Games could know I badly wanted a painted armored car for my 8th Army Brits but they brought one. ) I also agree with Major Mike that the pics only gave a glimpse of the great gaming Nashcon 2022 had on offer. Finally, BIG SHOUT OUTS to everyone who played in our Sat afternoon episode/game of the classic 60s TV series, The Rat Patrol. Starring Bob Moon as Sgt Troy. Y'all were a great cast to work with. |
