I have been working through the lead pile and came across some 28mm Western figures, so a game was called for. I dusted off my 1970's Old west rules and created a background for the fictional town of De Lancy. An AAR is on my blog and the back story is in a previous post. link |

It sounds kind of like the old Boot Hill rules where you had personal speed, weapon speed, etc. to determine who got the first shot, and then who fired next. |

The Old West rules were the first set of skirmish rules and certainly the first I bought. I played them a lot back in the 1970's and despite their age I still think they give a great game. |
