Or transfers…whatever ya call'em.

I have Veni Vedi Vici 15mm decals that fit just fine on my Xyson Hoplites.

I'm just looking for more variety.

Anyone know who else has these type of decals or transfers or whatever?

Thanks in advance!

I think they work differently to VVV transfers. They are very popular – I see them used a lot.

LBMS are very good, but different than the VVV. Takes some time to get used to. But a lot of variety.

what is different about them?
Is it the mechanics of how they are applied?

VVV are slide on decals like the ones I grew up with for use with plastic models. Easy to use, especially as no trimming is needed.

LBMS have to be trimmed/cut out of the sheet, has a 'plastic' protector/cover that is removed before applying the decal then water rubbed on the back of the paper.

LBMS are a little more complicated (well very complicated the first time) but get easier with practice. They look fantastic though and are well worth the effort.

I found the directions at the website.

Is there a US distributor? I didn't see anything. Postage is very reasonable, but I do try to support the locals when possible.

Several US distributors carry some of their decals. I know I've seen them, but I forget who (old age and all that). Hoplites are fairly popular so there should be several options.

I would look at vendors who sell Hoplite miniatures and see if they also sell decals. LBMS seems to be a popular add on for those who sell the miniatures.

You will need to work with them at first, fiddlely little things. But once you learn how to do it, you'll love them!

Noble Knight carries them but they are out of stock.

LBMS is on vacation for a few weeks.

I haven't found another US distributor, so unless someone can give me a few I'll wait for Steve to return from what I'm sure is a well-earned rest.
