Your posts these sent me to look for the "hybrid" tanks these toys are based on,. So know I know about Walter Christie, the M1928 (a bizarre yet cool looking tank… with headlights!!!) and the T-34. Fascinating bit of history, so "Tanks" to you I know a bit more than I knew before. Which is always cool. |

Thank you Stryderg and Paul. Parzival I suspect it is a Marmon-Herrington CTL-3A tank used by the USMC for a few years in the late 1940s. Only a handful were built. This was a very small tank and so while I use mine for 1/72nd scale they really are more like 28mm. Here is an excellent photo of one a bunch of photos down on this page. link Bunkermeister |
