Story goes that when we still had Canberra PR9s flying in the mid 80s the guard at RAF Wyton watched as a landrover turned up and parked by the gate guard, a Canberra PR9. A couple of RAF techs hopped out, climbed into the aircraft, rummaged around for a few minutes, then popped out clutching some piece of aircraft, jumped back into the landrover and drove back to the PR9 hangers, Tally Ho! |
