…In June, Chief Master Sergeant Todd Popovic, command chief of the Air Force's Special Warfare Training Wing at Joint Base San Antonio-Kelly Field, retired after 28 years of service. And he did so in a way befitting all senior enlisted leaders, by leading those in attendance at the ceremony in a round of push-ups…

If I had a $1 USD for every push up I did, from '75(ROTC)-'90 Active Duty, USAR '91 … 💰

Back on my youth I could do 80 push-ups to max the PT Test. 💪Now if I fall down, I need help to get up … old fart

Good for him, probably in his late forties…I never thought that would seem so young!

As a kid, I had little strength in arms. UK 'Duke Of Edinburgh Award' scheme meant that I could 'build' to manage 15-20 press-ups… better, but NOT Arnie! lol.

Best strengthening 'exercise' was rope swing over river in Teens… you HAD to hold on! Ha, ha!

Now… no inclination for exercise, whatsoever! 5 years ago, I could lift and shift a Tumble Dryer/Cooker/ Washer without any difficulty. Now… not going to try… at 60, more sense, eventually!

LOL!!! Just remembered maybe 6-8 of us 'teens' 'lifting and shifting' a 'mates' medium size CAR into an 'impossible' situation! Long ago! No recall about HOW he got it out! We went back into Pub!
