All,
I have a collection of Blue Moon and AB figures for the French Revolution and the Vendee. I'd like to expand the possibilities by adding some actions in the West Indies and Caribbean, possibly Haitian Revolution. I can't seem to find any British in 15mm for the period that will match Blue Moon and AB, both 18mm. Any ideas or suggestions for proxies?

His Majesty's Marines? Their round hats derived from the hats issued tropical service. Coatees and white pantaloons might be close enough in outline as a starting point.

I have the AB Royal Navy landing party.

Sho Boki,
Will they match Blue Moon and AB? Those are both 18mm.

Sho Boki list their 1:100 figures as 15(18)mm and IIRC correctly they originally started out filling gaps in the AB range so should go together well but I'm sure someone else can give you a more authoritative answer and/or comparison photos.

I ordered a mix of AB Spanish, Jena Prussians and British light dragoons, they will do.

I am just painting a batch of Sho's Brits – cannot even imagine how the 1806 Prussians could be a good substitude – back packs, different style of belts, short gaiters, plumes

The Prussians are only gunners. The Spanish infantry look close enough for me. I game essentially solo.

Two Dragoons has a line of Egypt/India figures that would be great but are true 15mm, so not a good match size wise. I use them with minifig in differant units.
