The one crazy fact is that the director's cut version made no sense at all (like LOTR when first released).

The longer version is totally self indulgent, the clips needed cutting, but it makes (slightly) more "sense".

I was fond of the plantation seen in the Redux. And the whole surfboard thing finally made sense. Then who could forget two hours with the bunnies.
