I got the latest email ad from Foundry today. This is what it said…. "Buy 5 packs and get the cheapest free! Offer ends Sunday 31st July. No code needed and no limit to the amount of times you can redeem this offer. Deal excludes 20mm Arab/Israeli Wars models, pewter: lead free models, all paint, paint brushes, tools, bases, clothing, gift cards, some box sets, Congo rulebooks & bundles. Postage not included in discount."
I'm not sure if I feel like making an order where I have to figure out which pack is the less expensive so it will be "The Free One". I kind of think that Bob Murch and Pulp Figures "buy a certain number of packs and the next one is free", has kind of spoiled me.

Most packs across the ranges are 12 GBP, with a few at 8, 14 or 16 GBPs. A lot of stuff I am interested in is all the same price. My bigger concern is how the Foundry ranges mix with newer figures. The current exchange rate is favorable as well. |

Foundry sculpts by the Perrys mix fine with Perry miniatures. I also mixed Foundry Old West Cavalry by Copplestone with Foundry and Perry ACW. |

The postage is pretty typical for an order from England. The free pack price can pay for most of the postage. Since postage is a flat rate, the more you order the less the per pack cost, which is not the case with manufacturers who charge a flat 20% or 25% of the order's value. |

We have had numerous attempts through the years on our "buy 5 packs get a free 6th pack" from people purchasing 5 low priced packs and then declaring a 6th expensive pack as the free one.
The worst was one fellow purchasing 5 packs thinking he was going to then walk off with a $150.00 USD pirate ship as is free option.

I liked the promotion. I picked out different packs that I wanted, then went to the shopping cart and the cheapest pact was listed as Free. Easy. Order shipped in 2 days and I'm expecting to receive it in the States this week. |
