All, I've done this many times in the past, but I'm never quite sure if they are right. How big would you all say a single sandbag should be for a 28mm figure? |

it all a question of scale. Generally its twice the width of a figures shoulder and then twice that long. |

same size as a mini-chicklet |

Saber6, you bring back memories. I remember Gene McCoy suggesting that solution way back when, but for ho scale plastics. |

I tried the mini-Chiclets. After a while they started to break down and ooze sugary goo. My troops refused to go near them. (Thanks. Gene. It was probably suggested in an April issue.) |

One of our group made sandbag emplacements with dried beans. Sealed, painted and washed. Forget which bean he used. They are still holding up today and it must have been at least 15 years ago when he made them. |

My go to material is Dollar Store modeling clay. |

Yes Nascati! I used sculpy clay. Made a hand full of sandbag walls for what I figured they should be for 28mm. Baked them out, primed them and painted them up. I've used them for almost 20 years now. |
